Summer is almost here!

I know it is hard to believe but summer is almost here, and with it, as always, the summer reading program. This year’s theme is “Get a Clue @ Your Library“. The program will begin on Thursday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. at the shelterhouse in the park. The program will kick off with an entertainer, Juggling Jeff.
The second and third Thursdays, June 14 and 21 will be at the schoolhouse from 9:30 to 11:30. These days will involve crafts and stories.
June 28 there will be more entertainment, that has yet to be determined.
Refreshments will be provided by the Corning FCE Unit for the children at the end of each day.
It would be helpful to sign up your children in advance so I can get a head count. I will have a sign-up sheet in the library, or you can email me at ccl@corning.lib.ks.us.
